New ending to debut in episode premiering on July 8

The official website for the My Hero Academia television anime series announced on Saturday that LiSA will perform the second season's new ending theme song "Datte Atashi no Hero" (Still My Hero). The new ending theme will debut with the second cour of the anime, which will debut on July 8.

LiSA has previously performed theme songs for Nisekoi:, The irregular at magic high school, Fate/Zero, Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, and both seasons of Sword Art Online, among others. LiSA's single for "Datte Atashi no Hero" will ship in Japan on August 2.

The second season premiered in Japanese with English subtitles on Crunchyroll and Hulu on April 1, and FunimationNow is streaming the English dub. The anime is listed with 25 episodes. The new season has so far covered the U.A. Sports Festival arc of Kōhei Horikoshi's original manga.

The anime's first season of 13 episodes premiered on the MBS/TBS channel in April 2016. Funimation streamed the series in Japanese with English subtitles in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland as it aired in Japan. The company also streamed a broadcast dub.
