DMI's Juné Imprint Launches Crowdfunding Project to Reprint Older Titles

Digital Manga Inc.'s Juné imprint launched a crowdfunding campaign on Monday to launch a small print run of three older titles, including Kyōko Akitsu A Promise of Romance novel, Sakuya Sakura's Endless Comfort manga, and Muku Ogura's Secrecy of the Shivering Night manga. The campaign seeks to raise US$15,000 by August 10.
Digital Manga Inc. stated that the campaign is the first of such "fan driven publishing" campaigns, which will reprint titles that have been out of print from two to 10 years.
The campaign's stretch goals include a variant cover for A Promise of Romance, a backer "thank you" page at the end of every book, and color inserts for Secrecy of the Shivering Night and Endless Comfort.
Digital Manga Inc. previously published all three books physically, with A Promise of Romance originally released in 2008, Endless Comfort in 2010, and Secrecy of the Shivering Night 2011.
