Bandai Namco Announces Tekken Smartphone Game With 100+ Characters

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced and began streaming a trailer for a new Tekken game for iOS and Android devices on Friday. The video previews fights in the upcoming game.
The game will feature more than 100 characters with unique fighting styles. Players will be able to upgrade their characters to unlock 20 special moves. The game's story mode will focus on Kazuya Mishima, and players will build teams to venture through a map-based campaign and uncover challenges and rewards. Dojo Challenge versus battles will let players fight against friends and other people online. Live events will offer new content daily, weekly, and monthly.
The game is already available in Canada, and the official website lists it as "coming soon." The pre-registration period is open now, and all players will receive in-game rewards depending on how many people pre-register.
