One Piece Anime's Upcoming 1-Hour Special Previewed in 3rd Promo Video

The official One Piece YouTube channel began streaming a third promotional video on Friday for the anime's upcoming one-hour special. The video previews famed betrayals between friends across time, and teases [Highlight white text to read spoilers] Luffy's battle with Sanji, the climax (but not the finale) of the Whole Cake Island Arc. Filmmaker Daisuke Satō, who works to make martial artist introduction videos, collaborated on the video.
The anime's newest opening theme song, "Hope" by Namie Amuro, will premiere with the episode.
The one-hour special will air on Sunday, October 1 starting at 9:00 a.m. One Piece usually airs back-to-back with Dragon Ball Super, which will get its own one-hour special on October 8 at the same time. Each one-hour special will feature two episodes of the television series.
One Piece also received a two-hour "Episode of East Blue" (One Piece Episode of East Blue: Luffy to 4-nin no Nakama no Daibōken) special that aired on August 26 from 9:00 p.m to 11:10 p.m. Crunchyroll and Funimation streamed the special.
