Crunchyroll Reveals Streaming Areas, Premiere Date For King's Game TV Anime

Site expands territories for Kiss Him, Not Me, Comet Lucifer; Encouragement of Climb Second Season to expire on October 9

Crunchyroll announced on Thursday the premiere date and territories for its previously announced stream of King's Game The Animation, the television anime adaptation of Nobuaki Kanazawa's King's Game (Ō-sama Game) cellphone novel. Crunchyroll will begin streaming the series on Thursday at 12:00 p.m. EDT for members in North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, and Latin America.

Crunchyroll announced on Wednesday that it is expanding the region availability for both the Kiss Him, Not Me and Comet Lucifer anime to include the United Kingdom and Ireland. In addition, the site announced that it will remove the Encouragement of Climb Second Season (Yama no Susume Second Season) anime on October 9. The first Encouragement of Climb (Yama no Susume) anime will remain available.

King's Game will premiere in Japan on Thursday on AT-X at 11:30 p.m., and will air later in the week on Tokyo MX and BS11.

Noriyoshi Sasaki (Ojisan to Marshmallow) is directing the anime at Seven. Kenji Konuta (Library War, Haitai Nanafa, Ace of Diamond) is in charge of series composition. Kan Soramoto (High School DxD, Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia animation director) and Yōsuke Itō (The Testament of Sister New Devil BURST, Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia animation director) are in charge of character designs, and Soramoto is also credited as the chief animation director.

coldrain (Hajime no Ippo: New Challenger, Rainbow - Nisha Rokubō no Shichinin) is performing the opening theme song "Feed the Fire," and Pile, the voice of Ria Iwamura in the show, is performing the ending theme song "Lost Paradise-."
