Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient Neues; Game's Video Previews Gameplay

Digital game distribution platform PLAYISM released the Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient Neues; game in Japan on Thursday. The game is a reboot of GrindHouse's Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient game, and was originally slated for a July release. PLAYISM is streaming a gameplay video for the game.
The rebooted version features additions to the story, new images, and runs on the new "KENIX Engine NEUES" engine.
GrindHouse released the Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient game in 2013 on the PC as a sequel to Team GrisGris' original Corpse Party games. The game was intended to be released episodically, with the story serialized in game episodes over time. However, GrindHouse only released the game's first episode. The game has also inspired a drama CD.
The game's story centers on Ayame Itō, a first year high school student who wakes up from a coma to find herself in a hospital she does not know, with monitoring equipment connected to her body. She realizes that she has lost all her memories. As she explores the hospital, she finds papers and plants strewn across the hospital floors, but she finds no one else. She then tries to find a way out of the hospital.
The original Corpse Party from Team GrisGris followed of a group of high school students trapped in Heavenly Host Elementary, which is haunted by children who disappeared.
XSEED Games released the PSP version of the original Corpse Party game in North America and Europe, as well as the follow-up games Corpse Party: Book of Shadows on PSP and Corpse Party: Blood Drive for PS Vita. XSEED released an English translation of the expanded 2008 edition of the original PC game via Steam, GOG.com, and the Humble Store by Humble Bundle in April 2016. 5pb. released an iOS port with XSEED's English translation in 2015. 5pb. shipped Corpse Party: Blood Covered …Repeated Fear, a Nintendo 3DS port of the game, in July 2016. The release features redrawn sprites and four new chapters.
The game inspired two live-action films. The first opened in Japan in August 2015, and the second opened in July 2016. The game has also inspired two OVAs and multiple manga series.
