The play will run from November 3-12 at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel Club eX. Kōichi Ishii is directing the play and writing the script.

Ono launched the manga series in Square Enix's Monthly Big Gangan magazine in June 2013, and ended it in October 2016. Square Enix shipped the manga's sixth and final compiled book volume last December. Ono's ACCA 13-Ku Kansatsu-Ka P.S. prequel manga launched in Monthly Big Gangan last December, and it will end on October 25.

An anime adaptation premiered in January. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan and Funimation streamed a simuldub. Funimation describes the story:

Jean Otus, commonly known as “Jean the Cigarette Peddler,” is one of the most cunning agents working for the unified group known as “ACCA.” In a kingdom split between 13 regions, ACCA serves to maintain the peace. Those working in the syndicate consider it their life and purpose. But Jean is monitored by gazes, rumors, and…snack time. Slowly, his life is swallowed up into the world's conspiracies!

Yen Press licensed the manga series for North America.
