My Girlfriend is Shobitch Anime Gets BD With 2 New Episodes in March

BD bundled with manga's 6th volume

The official website for My Girlfriend is Shobitch — the television anime of Namiru Matsumoto's Boku no Kanojo ga Majime Sugiru Shojo Bitch na Ken (My Girlfriend is Faithful Virgin Bitch) manga — revealed on Thursday that the sixth manga volume will have a limited edition that will bundle a Blu-ray Disc with two anime episodes. The two new episodes are titled "Moshi Akiho to Shinozaki ga S*x Shinai to Derenai Heya ni Tojikomeraretara" (What If Akiho and Shinozaki are Stuck in a Room Where They Can't Get Out Unless They Have S*x) and "Hateru Made Owaranai Ō-sama Game" (A King's Game That Won't End Until They Reach the Extremes). The volume with 25 minutes of new footage is slated for March 26.

The original manga's story centers on ordinary high school student Haruka Shinozaki. With nothing left to lose, Haruka confesses to beautiful, diligent class representative Akiho Kōsaka, and to his surprise she accepts. Kōsaka takes dating as seriously as she does everything else, but does not quite get it. She pragmatically suggests activities that are too sexual.

The show premiered on AT-X on Wednesday at 24:30 (effectively Thursday at 12:30 a.m.). The anime is streaming on Anime Strike in the United States and on select digital outlets in other territories. Sentai Filmworks is also planning a home video release.

Nobuyoshi Nagayama (episode director for Hinako Note, Utano☆Princesama Legend Star) is directing the series at diomedéa and Studio Blanc. Hideki Shirane (Date A Live, Queen's Blade: Rebellion, Kill Me Baby) is overseeing the scripts, and Shōko Yasuda (Unlimited Fafnir) is designing the characters for animation. Nippon Columbia is producing the music. Aoi Yūki is performing the opening theme song "Eien Labyrinth" (Eternal Labyrinth). Voice actresses Yuki Yagi, Natsumi Yamada, Marin Mizutani, and Miyū Ogura have formed a new unit named pua:re, and they are performing the ending theme "Ai no Himitsu" (The Secret of Love).

The manga launched on Nico Nico Seiga on July 20, 2015, and it also serializes on Comic Walker and Comic Web Newtype. The manga's fifth compiled volume shipped on Tuesday.
