Otaro Maijo writes story for manga that began in 2012

This year's 11th issue of Shueisha's Ultra Jump magazine revealed on Thursday that artist Oh! great and writer Otaro Maijo's Biorg Trinity manga will end in two chapters.

The manga takes place in a world where a disease called the "bio bug" has swept humanity. Those infected can absorb objects through holes in their hands and fuse with them. The protagonist is a high school boy named Fujii who is in love with a girl named Fumiho and is newly infected with the disease.

Biorg Trinity launched in December 2012. Shueisha released the 12th compiled manga volume in Japan on June 19, with the 13th volume scheduled to ship on December 31.

Oh! great ended his Air Gear manga in 2012. Del Rey and later Kodansha have published that manga in North America. ADV Films and Funimation released Toei's 2006 television anime version.

DC Comics' defunct CMX Manga imprint and Viz Media have published Oh! great's Tenjo Tenge manga. Geneon released the television and video anime adaptations.

Maijo's other works include the Japan Anima(tor)'s Exhibition shorts "The Dragon Dentist" and "Hammerhead," the first of which inspired a two-part special that Sentai Filmworks has licensed for home video release. Del Rey published Maijo's short story "Drill Hole in the Brain" as part literary magazine Faust.
