Hataraku Oniisan!/Working Buddies! Anime About Working Cats Revealed

Good Smile Company announced on Friday that it is producing a new television anime titled Hataraku Oniisan! (Working Buddies!). The series of five-minute shorts will premiere on Tokyo MX on January 5 at 9:54 p.m., and on BS Fuji on January 9 at 11:55 p.m.
The story centers around the cheerful orange tabby cat Tapio Chatorazawa and the pessimistic Russian blue Kuehiko Roshihara. The two study in the same college, and also work together on various odd jobs.

Takuya Mizoguchi as Kuehiko Roshihara
Tomokazu Sugita as The Animal With the Ineffable Name
Yoshiki Usa (Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life) is credited as the original creator. Tomoya Takashima (Yamishibai: Japanese Ghost Stories, Kagewani) is directing the anime at Tomovies. Hiromu Kumamoto, who also worked on Takashima's previous two anime, is the scriptwriter for the anime. Haruka Oda is the character designer. R.O.N is composing the music.
DearDream, the in-story male idol unit from the Dream Festival! franchise (of which Tomita and Mizoguchi are members), will perform the anime's theme song.
