Illustrias Geocentrism special broadcast teased in 5th character ad

The official website for Fate/Extra Last Encore, the television anime of the Fate/Extra game, revealed the premiere date and broadcast details on Sunday. The series will premiere at 24:00 on January 27 (effectively midnight on January 28) on the Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and BS11 channels. It will then debut at 27:30 on January 30 (3:30 a.m. on January 31) on MBS.

The website is also teasing an Illustrias Geocentrism special broadcast "coming soon." It is streaming the fifth character commercial. (Note: The linked character ad is region-locked to Japan.)

The show's official website is revealing six character commercials — once every two weeks during the latest episode of the Fate/Apocrypha anime.

The show will star:

Akiyuki Simbo (March comes in like a lion, Puella Magi Madoka Magica) is the chief director of the anime at the studio SHAFT. Yukihiro Miyamoto (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Arakawa Under the Bridge) is serving as series director. Masaaki Takiyama (Tokyo ESP, Nyaruko: Crawling with Love!) is designing the characters based on Rco Wada's (Wadarco) original designs. Type-Moon and Marvelous are credited for the original game and original Fate/stay night creator Kinoko Nasu is handling series composition. Satoru Kousaki (Bakemonogatari, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) is composing the music.

Marvelous Entertainment and Type-Moon released the Fate/Extra PlayStation Portable game in Japan in 2010. Aksys Games released the game in North America in November 2011. The Fate/Extra CCC companion game shipped in Japan on the PSP in March 2013.
