Tokimeki Restaurant Anime Film's Full Trailer Streamed

The official website for Tokimeki Restaurant☆☆☆ Miracle6, the anime film adaptation of Konami and Koei Tecmo Games' Tokimeki Restaurant☆☆☆ smartphone game, revealed a full trailer for the film on Thursday. The video reveals the film will have both normal and special screenings, the latter of which will allow moviegoers to cheer and have penlights in the theater.

The film will open in Japan on February 10.
Chiaki Kon (all three Junjō Romantica seasons, Nodame Cantabile: Paris, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal: Season III) is the animation director for the film at Production I.G. ASMIK Ace is distributing the film. Tooru Ookubo (both Sengoku Basara - Samurai Kings seasons and film) is designing the characters for animation.

The film will celebrate the fifth anniversary of the game.
Konami released the smartphone game in 2013, but Koei Tecmo Games took over management of the game in 2014. In the romance simulation game, players control a new chef at a small restaurant. At the restaurant she meets several male idols who are regulars at the restaurant and who live nearby. Players manage the restaurant while also romancing the characters.
The game is a spinoff of Konami's Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side game series. The franchise is getting a new game titled Tokimeki Idol slated for winter on iOS and Android.
