Cherry Boys Live-Action Film's Trailer Previews Theme Song

The staff of the live-action film adaptation of Tomohiro Koizumi's Cherry Boys manga began streaming a new trailer on Monday. The video previews the theme song "GO! GO! Cherry Boy!" by The MANNISH BOYS group (Kazuyoshi Saitō and Tatsuya Nakamura).
Ken'ichirō Nishiumi is directing the film and Daigo Matsui is writing the script. The film opens in Japan on February 17.
The comedy manga follows three 25-year-old men who are trying to lose their virginity. The protagonist Shin'ichi Kunimori is a self centered show-off, Tatsuya has a complex about how big his nipples are, and Makoto Takasugi has a shy personality and is bad with women.

- Elaiza Ikeda as Fueko Shaku, a woman whom the boys regard as a Madonna-like existence, and the target of their "losing virginity" strategy

- Amane Okayama as Shimizu, Putin's underling
- Hannya as Seiichirō Itsuki, a hard-faced and eccentric lone wolf

Seirinkogeisha published one compiled volume for the series in 2001.
