ēlDLIVE Manga Enters 'Last Season' on February 5

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Web manga launched in 2013, inspired TV anime in January 2017

The official page for Akira Amano's ēlDLIVE manga revealed on Sunday that the manga will enter its "Last Season" on February 5. Amano confirmed the announcement on Monday. The manga is currently in its 10th season, which began in November 2016. The 10th season's third chapter debuted on Monday.

Amano (Reborn!) launched the original series in full color on Shonen Jump+'s predecessor app Jump Live in August 2013. The manga switched to Shonen Jump+ when the app launched in September 2014. Shueisha published the manga's eighth compiled book volume last July, and will release the ninth volume on February 2. Viz Media published the first three chapters of the manga in English digitally in September-October 2014 as part of its "Jump Start" initiative, and it describes the manga:

"Mumbling" Chuta Kokonose doesn't have many friends. In fact, the only conversations he has anymore are with voices inside his head. Little does he know that this voice doesn't mean he's crazy. It just means he has an alien living inside his body!

A television anime adaptation premiered in Japan in January 2017. Crunchyroll streamed the series with English subtitles as it aired in Japan, and Funimation streamed an English dub.
