posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
"Heroic action fantasy" series launched in 2014

Kadokawa's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine announced on Sunday that Suu Minazuki's Plunderer manga is getting an anime adaptation. Monthly Shōnen Ace will reveal more information about the anime project at at later date. The April issue of Monthly Shōnen Ace on February 26 will feature the manga on the cover, and will also feature a poster of the manga drawn by Minazuki.

The "heroic action fantasy" manga features "passionate battles, heart-pounding sex appeal, and hilarious gags." The series takes place in the year 305 of the Alcian calendar, in a world ruled by "Counts" (numbers). The series starts with Hina's mother's dying request: that Hina find a certain person. Hina then meets Rihito, a swordsman who wears a mask and who keeps his true identity a secret. Rihito wields his long sword to protect young women and to clear away the darkness of the world.

Minazuki launched the series in Monthly Shōnen Ace in December 2014. Kadokawa published the eighth volume on August 26, and will publish the ninth volume on February 26.

Minazuki's Sora no Otoshimono (Heaven's Lost Property) manga inspired two television anime series, two anime films, and an OVA.

Tokyopop, and later Viz Media, published Minazuki's five-volume Judas manga in English. Yen Press released Minazuki's four-volume Gou-dere Sora Nagihara manga in 2014-2015.
