California's FanimeCon to Host Voice Actor Ryotaro Okiayu

Northern California anime convention FanimeCon announced on February 28 that it will host voice actor Ryōtarō Okiayu at this year's event.

Okiayu is known as the voice actor for Toriko's Toriko, Bleach's Byakuya Kuchiki, Prince of Tennis' Kunimitsu Tezuka, and Fullmetal Alchemist's Scar. His other lead roles include Dark in D.N.Angel, Katsuhiko Jinnai in El Hazard - The Magnificent World, Meisuke Nueno in Jigoku Sensei Nube, Hisashi Mitsui in Slam Dunk, Aoyama-kun in Clean Freak! Aoyama kun, and Yuu Matsuura in Marmalade Boy. He also voiced characters in Fruits Basket, Sengoku Basara, Fate/Zero, and Detective Conan.

FanimeCon 2018 will be held from May 25-28 at the San Jose Convention Center. Bilingual singer nano and voice actress Satomi Satou will also attend the event.
