Kodansha to End Aria Manga Magazine on April 28

The May issue of Kodansha's manga magazine ARIA announced on Wednesday that the magazine will end, after eight years, in the next issue on April 28.

Kodansha launched the monthly magazine in July 2010. It has since been the home of such creators as naked ape (Magnolia), Kaori Yuki (Demon from Afar, Kakei no Alice), Akira Hiyoshimaru (First Love Monster), Kairi Shimotsuki (Nightmare Express), Ema Toyama (Manga Dogs), Chika (This Is a Love Story), and voice actor-turned-manga creator Hikaru Midorikawa (Seifuku no Ragnarok).

The magazine also published such media spinoffs as Neo Parasyte f, Haruka: Beyond the Stream of Time 6, Attack on Titan: No Regrets, No. 6, K: Memory of Red, K -Days of Blue-, K―Lost Small World―, and The Seven Deadly Sins Production.
