Dragon Ball Z Bucchigiri Match Smartphone Browser Game Pre-Opens, Streams Video
posted on by Jennifer Sherman
The official Twitter account of the Dragon Ball Z Bucchigiri Match iOS and Android smartphone game announced on Wednesday that the game has pre-opened in Japan. Bandai Namco Entertainment also began streaming a promotional video for the game.
During the pre-opening period, restrictions include a limit on the number of people who can play. The card battle game lets players face off against people they encounter in the real world. The game takes advantage of HTML5 technology and "involves one's surroundings to bring a new style of playing." The main character is Goku, and other characters include Vegeta and Bardock.
The game is the second title that game company BXD is offering on the smartphone browser game platform enza. Basic gameplay is free, but there are options to purchase items.
Bandai Namco Entertainment and video game company Drecom founded BXD in May 2017 to develop a gaming platform distribution service to release HTML5-based online games.
