Dengeki PlayStation Magazine Switches to Monthly Schedule

Kadokawa's Dengeki Online website revealed on Tuesday that the Dengeki PlayStation magazine will switch to a monthly publishing schedule beginning in July. Kadokawa will ship a new issue on the 28th of every month, although the issue in July will ship on the 27th. Kadokawa previously published a new issue of the magazine on the second and fourth Thursdays of every month.
The magazine's latest issue (seen right) shipped on Thursday, June 14.
In addition, the site revealed that the Dengeki PlayStation YouTube channel's weekly Thursday livestream will transfer to the Dengeki Online YouTube channel. The program will still stream on Thursdays, but will now be streamed from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m, doubling the program's original stream duration.
Dengeki PlayStation launched in 1995. The magazine is part of Kadokawa's Dengeki family of games magazines, and focuses primarily on games and news for Sony's PlayStation line of home gaming consoles. The first issue debuted only a few months after the December 1994 release of the original PlayStation console in Japan.
