JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Franchise Has 'Big News' This Summer

The wraparound jacket band on the Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan short story collection novel (pictured at right) announced on Tuesday that there will be "big news" for Hirohiko Araki's JoJo's Bizarre Adventure franchise this summer.

Araki's Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan (Kishibe Rohan wa Ugokanai) spinoff manga is getting a second anime DVD will ship with the manga's second volume on July 19. The anime will adapt the manga's second "episode" from the first volume, titled "Mutsukabezaka." The anime features a returning staff, including director Toshiyuki Kato, anime studio david production, assistant director Yasufumi Soejima, character designer Shun'ichi Ishimoto, Stand designer Kenta Mimuro, and composer Yūgo Kanno.

The manga previously inspired an original anime DVD (OAD) for those who purchased all 13 DVD or Blu-ray Disc volumes of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable anime. The JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable anime, which adapted Part 4 of the overall JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga, aired for 39 episodes from April to December 2016.

Naokatsu Tsuda, the director of all the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure television anime, will be a guest at Anime Expo next month.
