World End Syndrome Game's Promo Video Previews Ibuki Kido's Ending Song

PS4/Vita/Switch game ships on August 30 in Japan

Arc System Works began streaming an introduction video for its World End Syndrome game on Friday. The video introduces the main characters and previews the ending song "Unending blue" by Ibuki Kido, performing as her character Rei Nikaidō.

The game will ship in Japan for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch on August 30 after a delay from April 26.

The "mystery x romance adventure" game is set in the sea town of Mihate when the protagonist moves there and begins to attend a new school. He hears of a local legend in which the dead come back to life every 100 years and are known as "Yomibito." A missing high school girl could signal the return of the Yomibito.

Tomio Kanazawa is providing the scenario, Yūki Kaitō is designing the characters, and Niita Takashi is composing the music. Kōya Takahashi is in charge of backgrounds and movies. Ibuki Kido will perform the game's ending theme song.
