New stage play adapts game's Babylonia story

The official website for the Fate/Grand Order stage play revealed on Saturday that a new stage play is in the works that will premiere in January 2019. The play will run in Osaka at Sankei Hall Breeze and in Tokyo at Nippon Seinenkan Hall. The play will adapt the "Dai Nana Tokuiten Zettai Majū Sensen Babylonia" (Order VII: The Absolute Frontline in the War Against the Demonic Beasts: Babylonia) story of the game.

Aniplex is streaming a commercial to announce the new stage play, but the video is region-locked to Japan. The video features footage from the first stage play.

The first stage play, titled Fate/Grand Order The Stage: Shinsei Entaku Ryōiki Camelot Replica; Agateram (Fate/Grand Order The Stage: Domain of the Holy Round Table Camelot Replica; Agateram), ran in Tokyo in July 2017, and then again in September and October.

Aniplex released the Fate/Grand Order smartphone game in Japan in summer 2015. The game received an English release in the United States and Canada in June 2017.

A 74-minute television anime based on the game titled Fate/Grand Order: First Order aired in Japan in December 2016. Aniplex of America, Crunchyroll, and Daisuki streamed the special the same day. Aniplex of America released the special on Blu-ray Disc in North America last October with Japanese and English audio.

The Fate Project Ōmisoka TV Special (Fate Project New Year's Eve TV Special) aired two new anime shorts for the franchise in January.

The Fate/Grand Order VR feat. Mash Kyrielight PlayStation VR game launched last December. The Fate/Grand Order Arcade game launched on Thursday.

Additionally, two manga adaptations, Fate/Grand Order -mortalis:stella- and Fate/Grand Order: Turas Réalta-, launched in July 2017 and August 2017, respectively.
