Rina Hidaka, Aya Uchida play Akari Amano's classmates in fall comedy

The official website for the anime of Amatou's Ms. vampire who lives in my neighborhood. (Tonari no Kyūketsuki-san) manga began streaming its first promotional video on Friday. The video reveals two new cast members and additional staff members.

The newly announced cast members play Akari Amano's classmates:

Aya Uchida as Yū Aoki

Sonomi Sugimura is serving as concept designer, and Shigeyuki Koresawa (Digital Noise) and Tom (Digital Noise) are prop designers. Hiroki Matsumoto (Atelier PLATZ) is directing the art. The color key artist is Yoko Suzuki.

Takeshi Hirooka is the director of photography, and Kentarou Tsubone is editing. Jin Aketagawa is directing the sound, and Nippon Columbia is producing the music.

The four-panel manga is a "living with a modern-day vampire" comedy story that centers on Akari Amano. Due to a strange incident, Akari is rescued by a vampire girl named Sophie Twilight, and Akari becomes interested in her.

The cast also stars:

The four main cast members perform the opening theme song "†Kyūtie Ladies†" and ending theme song "Happy!! Strange Friends" (as heard in the video above). A CD with both songs will ship on October 31.

As previously announced, Noriaki Akitaya (Active Raid, Bakuman.) is directing the anime at Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ. Toshiki Fukushima is the assistant director. Tatsuya Takahashi (Katana Maidens: Toji no Miko, Beatless) is handling series composition, while Takahiro Sakai (Yuki Yuna Is a Hero) is the character designer and chief animation director. Yoshiaki Fujisawa (Love Live! School idol project, Land of the Lustrous) is composing the music.

The anime will premiere in October.

Kadokawa published the manga's first volume in September 2015, and published the fourth volume on March 26.
