halca performs ending theme for new season premiering on October 6

The official Twitter account for the Ace Attorney anime franchise revealed a new visual on Saturday for the show's second season, Gyakuten Saiban ~Sono "Shinjitsu," Igiari!~ Season 2.

The visual and Twitter account hint that the kanji in the visual can be read both right-side-up and upside-down. The right-side-up version of the kanji appears to read "Gyakuten" (逆転 or "turnabout") from the title "Gyakuten Saiban" of the franchise. When viewed upside-down, the kanji appears to instead read "Shōri" (勝利 or "victory").

The official website for the anime also revealed on August 18 that halca will perform the new anime's ending theme song "Starting Blue."

The show will premiere on October 6 on YTV and NTV at 5:30 p.m. JST, the same timeslot as the first anime. The show will replace My Hero Academia, which is currently airing in this timeslot.

Original game director Shu Takumi is collaborating on the anime. A-1 Pictures is again handling animation production, with returning staff members director Ayumu Watanabe, series writer Atsuhiro Tomioka, composer Kaoru Wada, and character designer and chief animation director Keiko Ōta. Yukiko Imai is serving as assistant director.

The returning cast includes:

The first series premiered in April 2016 and covered the first two games in the series. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan, and Funimation released the first part on home video in January.
