Hana Yume Ai Web Magazine Details Lineup

posted on by Karen Ressler
1st issue features new series by Meca Tanaka, Nanpei Yamada, more

This year's 19th issue of Hakusensha's Hana to Yume magazine announced that the first issue of Hakusensha's new online shōjo magazine Hana Yume Ai will launch via digital book stores on October 20. The magazine also announced details on its lineup.

The first issue will feature new series by Meca Tanaka (The Young Master's Revenge, Pearl Pink, Meteor Prince, Omukae desu.), Nanpei Yamada (Kōcha Ōji, Skyblue Shore), Shigeru Takao (Issho ni Neyō yo, Teru Teru × Shōnen), and Banko Kuze (Palace Meidi).

In addition, the first issue will feature Masami Morio's Otona no Kobayashi-kun manga (pictured right), which first moved online following the suspension of publication of Hakusensha's Ane LaLa magazine last year. The issue will also have reprints of Ken Saitō's Kawaii Hito and Hisaya Nakajo's Wild Kiss manga.

Other artists that are preparing manga for upcoming issues include Kou Matsuzuki (Happy Cafe), Ritsu Miyako (Psychic Detective Yakumo: Akai Hitomi wa Shitteiru), and Marimo Ragawa (Baby & Me, Mashiro no Oto). While the magazine did not specify whether these will be new or returning series, the final issue of Hakusensha's Bessatsu Hana to Yume magazine previously revealed that Ragawa's Kyūketsuki to Yukai na Nakama-tachi will resume in Hana Yume Ai.

Bessatsu Hana to Yume ended publication in May after 41 years.
