New Senran Kagura Anime's Returning Cast Listed

28 cast members listed for anime premiering in October

This year's October issue of Animedia listed 28 returning cast members for Senran Kagura Shinovi Master (Senran Kagura Shinovi Master: Tokyo Yōma-hen-), the second Senran Kagura television anime, on Monday. The cast members are returning from the games, the Senran Kagura: Ninja Flash! television anime, and the Senran Kagura: Estival Versus - Festival Eve Full of Swimsuits original video anime.

The season will will premiere in October on AT-X. Crunchyroll will stream the series as it airs.

Tetsuya Yanagisawa (High School DxD, Daimidaler: Prince vs. Penguin Empire) is directing the anime at TNK (Doreiku The Animation, High School DxD BorN). Yukinori Kitajima (BBK/BRNK, Brynhildr in the Darkness), who provided the original story for the first television anime, is returning to handle series composition and the script. Junji Gotō (School Days, High School DxD BorN) is designing the characters and serving as chief animation director with Tsutomu Miyazawa (Samurai Bride, Soul Buster). Series producer Kenichirō Takaki is returning as "bakunyū producer" (large breast producer), and Keisuke Kawai (High School DxD BorN, Daimidaler: Prince vs. Penguin Empire production producer) is animation producer.

Other staff members include:

Sayaka Sasaki is performing the new season's opening theme song "Scarlet Master." Sasaki also performed the first season's opening song. Mia REGINA is performing the ending theme song "Junsei Erotic" (Genuine Erotic).

The Senran Kagura: Ninja Flash! television anime premiered in 2013, followed by the Senran Kagura: Estival Versus - Festival Eve Full of Swimsuits original video anime (OVA) in 2015. Funimation streamed the television series as it aired in Japan, and released the series on Blu-ray Disc and DVD.
