posted on by Karen Ressler

Discotek Media announced on Facebook on Monday that it has licensed Dinosaur King, the English-dubbed and localized version of Sunrise's Kodai Ōja Kyōryū King D-Kids Adventure anime. The company plans to release the 49-episode first season and the 30-episode second season on Standard Definition Blu-ray Discs on November 27.

The company also announced that its Blu-ray Disc releases of Lupin III: The Legend of the Gold of Babylon and Hells are both slated for November 27.

4Kids Entertainment first premiered Dinosaur King on U.S. television in 2007. The series follows three friends who are collecting dinosaurs that are trapped as cards in order to save them from a mysterious organization. Shout! Factory released the fist five episodes on DVD in 2008.
