posted on by Karen Ressler
Death Note, Vampire Knight, One Punch Man anime to expire from service next month

Netflix is now streaming all seven episodes of the Mobile Suit Gundam UC (Unicorn) original video anime in the United States. The show is available with English, Japanese, and Cantonese audio and English, Spanish, French, and Traditional and Simplified Chinese subtitles.

The streaming service is also listing expiration dates for several anime series: Death Note and Vampire Knight will expire on October 15 and One Punch Man will expire on October 20.

Mobile Suit Gundam UC adapts Harutoshi Fukui's original Mobile Suit Gundam UC novel series, which is mainly set in the year Universal Century 0096, 16 years after the events of the One Year War depicted in the first Mobile Suit Gundam anime, and three years after the Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack anime film. In a renewed conflict between the Earth Federation and Neo Zeon remnants, the Vist Foundation has a potentially devastating secret from the founding of the Federation a century before.

Sunrise released the video anime series of seven hour-and-a-half episodes theatrically in Japan and on home video between 2010-2014.Right Stuf released the series in North America on home video. Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096, a TV broadcast version with 22 episodes and new opening and ending themes, premiered in Japan April 2016 and streamed on Crunchyroll. The TV broadcast version also aired on Adult Swim's Toonami programming block starting in January.
