Crunchyroll Adds Voice of Fox, Gurazeni 2, Merc Storia Anime

Crunchyroll revealed on Thursday that it will stream the following anime: Voice of Fox, Gurazeni Season 2, Merc StoriA: The Apathetic Boy and the Girl in a Bottle, The Idolm@ster SideM Wake Atte Mini!, and HIMOTE HOUSE: A share house of super psychic girls.

Voice of Fox is available worldwide except in Asia. Crunchyroll describes the show:

The ghost singer with the fox mask who can carry a tune and the idol who can't sing at all take on the world of entertainment together! Hu Li hides his face and ghost sings with his amazing voice. Kong Que is good looking, but can't sing to save his life. The two of them will butt heads with each other, and their rivals, as they climb the stairway to stardom.

The anime will premiere on AT-X on Friday.

The game company Success is co-producing the anime with the restructured Yumeta Company and the Chinese video streaming site iQIYI. (iQIYI previously listed Tezuka Productions in its collaboration to produce Voice of Fox.)

Kōjin Ochi (Detective Conan, La Corda D'Oro - primo passo, Samurai Warriors) is directing the anime, and Yoshimi Narita (Yes! Precure 5, Kemeko Deluxe!, Saint Seiya Omega) is in charge of series scripts. Aki Tsunaki (Harukanaru Toki no Naka de: Maihitoyo, Chōyaku Hyakunin Isshu: Uta Koi, Samurai Warriors) is designing the characters, and Rie Nishimura is designing the props. LoveDesire is performing the opening theme song "Come:Back Stage!"

Xiang-dong Liu is planning the project, and Tagei Takamoto and Satoshi Yamaguchi are producing. Atsushi URUSHIYAMA is the animation producer, and Hiroshi Tsubai is the visual director.

Gurazeni Season 2 is available in North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia, South Africa, the Netherlands, and Latin America. Crunchyroll describes the anime:

There's money buried in the grounds. Bonda Natsunosuke (26, single), is a left-handed relief pitcher for the professional baseball team, the Jingu Spiders. He became a pro right after high school and now in his 8th year makes 18 million yen a year, and is not what you'd call a "first rate player." "I don't know how many years I've got left to play after 30." "Only a few can become coaches or commentators after they retire." "After some players retire, there are people who end up in a slump having to make a living around 1,000,000 yen a year." "Pro baseball players need to make their money while before they retire!" Despite the harsh realities, Bonda always repeats the same phrase: "There's money buried in the grounds."

The anime will premiere on Friday.

Yūki Iwai of the comedy duo Haraichi and pro baseball player Masahiro Yamamoto will guest star.

The first Gurazeni anime premiered on April 6 and ended in June. Crunchyroll streamed the series under the title Gurazeni: Money Pitch as it aired in Japan.

Merc StoriA: The Apathetic Boy and the Girl in a Bottle will be available in the United States, Canada, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America. Crunchyroll describes the anime:

Yuu, a young healer with the power to heal the hearts of monsters, receives a mysterious bottle from his father as a gift. When Yuu touches the bottle, Merc, a girl made of liquid, appears from it. Merc has no memories from before she met Yuu and wants to learn more about who she is, so the two of them set out on a journey through various countries. And thus begins the comical fantasy of Yuu, an apprentice healer with a fear of monsters, and Merc, the girl in the bottle.

The anime will premiere on October 11.

Fumitoshi Oizaki (Romeo × Juliet, Etotama, AOKANA: Four Rhythm Across the Blue) is directing the anime at Encourage Films, and is also in charge of series composition alongside Hiroki Uchida (Gamers!, Schwarzes Marken) and Hitomi Amamiya (Yawaraka Sangokushi Tsukisase!! Ryofuko-chan). Happy Elements is supervising the scenario. Yukiko Akiyama (Black Cat, Yumeiro Pâtissière, Puzzle & Dragons X) is drawing the character designs, and Hirotoshi Arai is credited for sub character design.

The Mili music group are credited for music production, and are also performing the opening theme song "Origin."

The Idolm@ster SideM Wake Atte Mini! is available worldwide except in Asia. Crunchyroll describes the anime:

From "THE iDOLM@STER: SideM" franchise which spawned a game, live shows, and comics, comes a short anime featuring the idols from 315 Production in mini form. The total number of idols on the show... is all 46 of them! Director Mankyu, who is a regular for THE iDOLM@STER series ("Puchimasu!" "THE iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls Theater"), brings you the cool and cute daily lives of the idols to all the producers out there.

The anime will premiere on October 9.

The anime's cast members are reprising their roles from The Idolm@ster SideM game and previous anime in The Idolm@ster franchise.

Mankyū (PUCHIM@S, The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls Gekijō) is directing and is in charge of series composition for the shorts at Zero-G. Sao Tamado (PUCHIM@S, Mobile Suit Gundam-san) is designing the characters based on Sumeragi's original designs. Kazuhiko Yokota (animation director for Battery the Animation, Grand Blue) is chief animation director.

HIMOTE HOUSE: A share house of super psychic girls is available for users worldwide except in German-speaking territories and Asia. Crunchyroll describes the anime:

The three Himote sisters, Tokiyo, Kinami, and Kokoro, are living in what they've dubbed the "Himote House" in Nakano, Tokyo. Sharing the house with them are their former classmates, Tae and Minamo, and a cat named Enishi. These five unique girls live a boisterous life at the Himote House, spending their days trying to figure out how to get guys to like them. What's more, the five of them, and the cat, all have a mysterious power...

The anime will premiere on October 7.

Kōtarō Ishidate (gdgd Fairies, Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono, Naria Girls) is directing the anime, and is also credited for the original idea and series composition. The artist booota (Seven Senses of the Re'Union novels) is designing the characters. Mikinori Suzuki (Bakuon!!, Yowamushi Pedal 3DCG animation) is credited as the animation director. Junichi Inoue (Minarai Diva, Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono) and Hajime (Minarai Diva, Q Transformers: Kaettekita Convoy no Nazo) are composing the music.

THINKR is credited for visual design. Linked Brain is credited for CG and video production. Bouncy is credited for the original work and animation production.
