The official website for the television anime of FuRyu's Pastel Memories smartphone game revealed the January 2019 premiere, a key visual, character visuals, and theme songs for the series on Friday. The series will air on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and BS Fuji.

The anime stars:

Hiyori Nitta as Izumi Asagi

Mariko Toribe as Ayaka Sakaki

Yumi Uchiyama as Irina Leskova

Yukiyo Fujii as Kaoruko Nijouin

Rie Murakawa as Yuina Machiya

Naomi Ōzora as Michi Edogawabashi

Ai Yamamoto as Minami Senju

Yui Ogura as Chimari Maiko

Yurika Kubo as Rei Kurushima

Megumi Toda as Komachi Satonaka

Chitose Morinaga as Nejire-Usagi ("Screw-Rabbit")

Chiaki Takahashi as Maya

Asami Imai is performing the opening theme song "Believe in Sky," and Iketeru Hearts is performing the ending theme song "Sparkle☆Power."

Yasuyuki Shinozaki (Shuffle!, Xam'd: Lost Memories, And you thought there is never a girl online? episode director) is directing the anime at project No.9. Tsuyoshi Tamai (Strike Witches, Ladies versus Butlers!, Bikini Warriors) is in charge of series composition. Shin'ya Segawa (Garakowa -Restore the World-) is adapting Nero Nashiki's original character designs for animation.

The "otaku girls" role-playing game takes place "a little bit in the future in 20XX." Akihabara, which was once called "the otaku holy land," is now in decline after otaku culture itself has declined. Players take on the role of a manager of one of the few remaining "otaku shops." The manager helps to "raise" various talented otaku girls, and together, players and the girls battle a "virus" that is infecting the world of various works, while also retrieving people's lost "memories."

FuRyu released the game last October.
