This Hero is Invincible but "Too Cautious" Novel Ad Confirms TV Anime by White Fox

Novels about strong but Cautious Hero also get a manga adaptation this week

Kadokawa began streaming a commercial for Light Tuchihi's Kono Yūsha ga Ore TUEEE Kuse ni Shinchō Sugiru (This Hero is Invincible but "Too Cautious") novels that confirmed the recently listed anime adaptation on Wednesday. The Studio White FOX is animating for television.

The story begins when the goddess Rista summons a hero to help her hard mode video game-like world. The hero, Seiya, is exceptional in every way, but he is incredibly cautious. He does things like buy three sets of armor (one to wear, a spare, and a spare for the spare) and go full power against weak slimes (just in case).

Tsuchihi launched the novel series on the Kakuyomu website in June 2016, and Kadokawa published the first volume in print with illustrations by Saori Toyota in February 2017. (This is the first work from the Kakuyomu website to receive an anime adaptation.) The fifth volume will ship on Saturday.

A manga adaptation will launch on Friday in Kadokawa's Monthly Dragon Age. Koyuki (Log Horizon: The West Wind Brigade) will provide the art.
