TV Tokyo announced on Thursday that it is producing a live-action television series adaptation of Ryōka Shū and Kazuko Yumeno's Kono Hito ni Kakero (Bet on This Woman) manga titled Yotsuba Ginkō - Harashima Hiromi ga Monomōsu ~Kono Hito ni Kakero~ (Yotsuba Bank - Hiromi Harashima Speaks ~Bet on This Woman~). The series will begin airing on TV Tokyo's "Drama Biz" programming block on Mondays in January.

Yōko Maki will play the protagonist Hiromi Harashima.

The manga centers on Hiromi Harashima, the best employee in a bank in the city, and portrays her rise through the ranks.

The manga ran in Kodansha's Morning magazine from 1993 to 1997, and Kodansha published 15 compiled book volumes for the manga. The Mangajin educational magazine published part of the manga in English in several issues starting in 1995.
