Manga about 36-year-old grandmother runs in Ane Kei Petit Comic magazine

The January 2019 issue of Shogakukan's Ane Kei Petit Comic magazine revealed on Wednesday that Megumi Mizusawa will end her Hinakosan no Wakeari na Hibi manga in the magazine's March 2019 issue on February 5.

The manga's story centers on the everyday life of Hinako Ichinoki, a 36-year-old grandmother.

Shogakukan published the manga's first volume in April 2015, and it released the fifth volume on June 8.

Mizusawa's Hime-chan's Ribbon manga ran in Shueisha's Ribon magazine from 1990 to 1994. Toei Animation adapted the original manga into a popular 61-episode television anime series from 1992 to 1993. The manga also inspired novel and musical adaptations, as well as a 2009-2010 remake by Shiho Komiyuno (Demashita! PowerPuff Girls Z).
