Trinity Seven's Kenji Saito Ends Rednight Eve Manga

Saito, Kouzi Yokoyama launched supernatural manga in October 2014

The January 2019 issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Dragon Age magazine published the last chapter of Kenji Saitō and Kouzi Yokoyama's Rednight Eve manga on Friday. The manga's ninth volume will ship in February.

The manga's story begins when Hana Akanegasaki is attacked by a giant shark while vacationing by the seaside. She becomes involved in a series of supernatural events known as the "Rednight Eve."

Saito and Yokoyama launched the manga in Monthly Dragon Age in October 2014. Kadokawa published the manga's eighth compiled book volume on July 9.

Saito and Akinari Nao launched the Trinity Seven manga in Monthly Dragon Age magazine in 2011. Kadokawa published the manga's 19th compiled book volume on July 9. The manga has more than 3 million copies in print. The manga inspired a 12-episode television anime series that premiered in October 2014, and Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan. Sentai Filmworks released the series with an English dub on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in August 2016. Crunchyroll also began streaming the Trinity Seven: Eternal Library & Alchemic Girl film in March 2017. The film opened in Japan in February 2017. The manga is inspiring a second anime film.

Yokoyama previously drew the Tokyo Ravens: Girls Photograph- spinoff manga of Kōhei Azano's Tokyo Ravens light novel series.
