'You Don't Know Gunma Yet' Manga Ends in 11th Volume

Manga inspired series of anime shorts in April

The 10th volume of Hiroto Ida's Omae wa Mada Gunma o Shiranai (You don't know GUNMA yet.) manga revealed on Friday that the manga will end in its next volume in summer 2019.

Ida launched the manga in Shinchosha's online manga site Kurage Bunch in October 2013.

The comedy manga centers on Nori Kamitsuki, who moves from Chiba Prefecture to a fictionalized version of Gunma Prefecture northwest of Tokyo, and the story focuses on Gunma's culture. Before moving to Gunma, Kamitsuki only sees that the prefecture has a fearsome reputation on the net. Upon moving, he soon makes contact with the people who hold a strong love of Gunma's culture.

The manga inspired a 12-episode series of anime shorts that premiered on April 2, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan. The manga also inspired a smartphone game titled Omae wa Mada Gunma o Shiranai Meisanpin-hen (You Don't Know Gunma Yet: Famous Products Edition) that launched in July.
