Evo Japan 2019 Fighting Game Tournament Reveals Main Lineup

The official Twitter account for the Evolution Championship Series (EVO) fighting game tournament revealed the main lineup on Friday for the EVO Japan 2019 event.
Next year's event will feature the following six main games:
- Tekken 7
- Soul Calibur VI
- BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle
- Street Fighter V Arcade Edition
- The King of Fighters XIV
- Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2
Mark Julio, director of global business development for EVO, stated on Twitter on Friday, "Not every title was included in the main event that we originally hoped for. We couldn't get approval from the publisher/owner." The official Twitter account for EVO also added, "We will be working with the gaming communities to support the other titles not included."
The event will be held at the Fukuoka Kokusai Center in Fukuoka on February 15-17.
EVO Japan 2018, the inaugural event for the Japan tournament, was held on January 26-28. The main EVO 2018 tournament was held at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas on August 3-5.
