Dynamic Chord Stage Play Cast Announced

The official Twitter account for the stage play adaption of the Dynamic Chord franchise announced the main cast on Monday. The cast includes:

The play, titled Dynamic Chord the Stage, will run at the Hulic Hall Tokyo from May 10-15. Satoko Okazaki is penning the script, and Kōjirō Ishioka is directing the play. Some performances will focus on the groups KYOHSO and Liar‐S, while others will focus on [reve parfait] and apple-polisher.

The Dynamic Chord anime follows the musical careers and personal lives of several bands under the "Dynamic Chord" agency and music label. The show's in-universe bands are progressive rock band rêve parfait, veteran rock band KYOHSO, newcomer rock band Liar-S, and global performers apple-polisher.

The 12-episode anime series premiered in October 2017, and Sentai Filmworks licensed the series for home video. The series streamed on HIDIVE as it aired. Crunchyroll added the anime to its catalog in November.

The franchise has also inspired games, manga, and drama CD adaptations. Asgard, the company that owned the honeybee label that manages the franchise, dissolved on January 4.
