Da Capo 4 Visual Novel's Opening Movie Streamed

Adult visual novel developer Circus began streaming the opening movie on Friday for its Da Capo 4 (D.C. 4) visual novel.
The visual novel will star:

- Emiri Katō as Sorane Ōmi
- Kana Asumi as Hiyori Shirakawa
- Inori Minase as Shiina Hōjō
- Ryōko Maekawa as Miu Mishima
- Yuka Ozaki as Chiyoko Hinohara
- Daisuke Kishio as Suginami
- Shūta Morishima as Kanata
- Chihiro Ishiguro as Izumi Sogō
- Yui Horie as KotoRI
- Nao Tōyama as Alice
- Yukari Tamura as Cheshi
- Tomokazu Sugita as Ken Tokisaka
The visual novel's unvoiced protagonist is named Ichito Tokisaka.
The company is developing the visual novel as its as its 20th project. Circus started accepting pre-orders on January 25, and the visual novel will launch this spring.
Circus released the D.C. Da Capo Archives Sakura Edition game collection on January 25. The game collects all 21 titles in the Da Capo franchise, and is available for Windows 7, 8, and 10. The collection retails for 29,800 yen (about US$265).
All three main games of the series (D.C. ~Da Capo~, Da Capo II, and Da Capo III) have inspired respective anime adaptations of the same name. The franchise has also inspired three OVAs and several manga adaptations. Crunchyroll streamed D.C.III ~Da Capo III~ as it aired starting in January 2013.
