Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Edition Game Bundle Ships Outside Americas on May 17

Guilty Gear, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R games launch digitally in U.S.

Game distributor PQube announced on Thursday that it will release the "Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Edition" bundle on May 17. The physical edition will not be available in the Americas, but Arc System Works America will release the games individually digitally in the United States. PQube also began streaming a promotional video for the announcement.

The release's Day One Edition will include a letter from Guilty Gear creator Daisuke Ishiwatari and an artbook with Ishiwatari's unreleased works. A limited edition of 500 units in Europe will also bundle a special Nintendo Switch pouch.

The "Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Edition" bundle will include the previously announced Nintendo Switch versions of the original Guilty Gear game and the Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R game. The bundle will ship in Japan and other parts of Asia on May 16.

PQube will also release both games digitally separately for Switch, and will also release the original Guilty Gear game for PlayStation 4.

In addition, Arc System Works is releasing both games, and it will release the original Guilty Gear game for Switch, PS4, and PC (via Steam). The fighting game debuted on PlayStation on May 14, 1998.

Arc System Works originally planned to release the Switch version of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R last year, but it delayed the release to this year.
