posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda

The staff for the anime of Yumi Tamura's 7SEEDS manga revealed three new cast members for the anime's Winter Team on Wednesday. The newly announced cast members are:

Nozomu Sasaki as Takahiro Aramaki

Kenji Nojima as Fubuki Samejima

Houko Kuwashima as Mitsuru Kagurazaka

The previously revealed cast members include:

Summer B Team Characters (from left to right in top row then bottom row)

Spring Team Characters (from left to right in top row then bottom row)

Fall Team Characters (from left to right in top row then bottom row)

Netflix describes the anime:

In the immediate future, a giant meteorite has collided with earth. All living organisms, including mankind, have been wiped off the face of the planet. The government, who had foreseen this outcome, took measures to counter the worst-case scenario called Project 7SEEDS, in which five sets of seven young men and women were carefully selected and placed into teams. Each participant sought ways to survive on a deserted island.

Yukio Takahashi (Dog & Scissors) is directing the anime at GONZO. Touko Machida (The IDOLM@STER, Chaika the Coffin Princess, Harukana Receive) is in charge of series composition. Youko Satou (Dog & Scissors, Saiyuki Reload Blast, Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits-) is designing the characters.

The artist majiko will perform the ending theme song "WISH."

The anime will debut on Netflix globally in April.

Tamura launched the series in 2001 in Bessatsu Shōjo Comic magazine, before eventually moving it to Monthly Flowers. The series ended in the magazine in May 2017. The original manga's 35th and final volume shipped in August 2017, and a limited edition included a drama CD. Tamura launched the 7SEEDS Gaiden spinoff manga in August 2017 and ended it in October 2017. Shogakukan released a compiled book volume in January 2018.
