Elex Media Licenses Asahina the J-Wota Boy, Kurogiri Won't Be Shinobi Manga

Chika Iwa's CUE! manga also licensed

Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo announced on Tuesday that it has licensed Shingo Nanami's Asahina the J-Wota Boy (J-Wota Danshi Asahina-kun), Nonko Kon and Sayoshi's Kurogiri Won't be Shinobi (Kurogiri-kun wa Shinobanai), and Chika Iwa's CUE! (CUE! - Hatsukoi Tanpen-shū).

Elex Media describes Asahina the J-Wota Boy:

Wakana Aoba, an ordinary high school student, falls in love with perfect pretty boy Asahina, who is good at sports and academics, and is tall and handsome. But Mr. Perfect also happens to be a "J-Wota," a hardcore fan of JOKER'S, a nationally popular idol agency consisting of handsome young men!

Wakana nevertheless gathers her courage and confessed to Asahina, but Asahina instead mistakenly thinks Wakana is a fellow J-Wota.

This is a passionate love story with a new sensation! Break out!

Nanami launched the manga in Square Enix's Gangan Joker magazine in 2017, and ended it in 2018. Square Enix published three compiled book volumes for the manga.

Elex Media describes Kurogiri Won't be Shinobi:

Hisoka Kurogiri is the childhood friend of Natsuki, a 17-year-old high school student who really likes things that look sweet. But Hisoka turns out to be the heir of a Shinobi village that still survives in the 21st century!

Hisoka does not seem to have any desire to become a ninja or inherit a village, but assassins begin coming after him one by one, and now it involves Natsuki too!

Kon and Sayoshi launched the manga in pixiv in February 2017, and ended it in the same year. Shogakukan published two compiled book volumes for the manga.

Elex Media describes CUE!:

Maiko first fell in love when an upperclassman took her and made her join the theater club. That upperclassman was only focused on the stage, but Maiko fell in love with him nevertheless.

Here are three short, soft, and sweet stories about first love between schoolmates that will make your heart pound!

Iwa and Shueisha published the book in May 2014.

Elex Media previously published Iwa's This is My First Love (Konna Hatsukoi) manga last September.
