J-Novel Club Licenses 'There Was No Secret Evil-Fighting Organization (srsly?!), So I Made One MYSELF!' Novels

posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
Novel series centers on man who wakes up one day with telekinetic powers

J-Novel Club announced on Friday that it has licensed writer Hagane Kurodome and illustrator Katto's There Was No Secret Evil-Fighting Organization (srsly?!), So I Made One MYSELF! (Sekai no Yami to Tatakau Himitsu Kessha ga nai kara Tsukutta (Hangire)) novel series.

The company describes the story:

Kinemitsu Sago awakens one day to find that he possesses the superpower of telekinesis. His life remains ordinary despite this as no beautiful girl barges into his life, no being whisked away to an alternate world, no secret past unveiled, nor any explanation to the attainment of his new power! However, the most disappointing thing he finds is that there's nothing for him to do with such a monstrous ability.
Craving a way out of his normal life, Kinemitsu Sago creates a secret organization filled to the brim with powerful espers, terrible forces of darkness that threaten the world, heroic protagonists, beautiful heroines, hot-headed rivals, and more.
Welcome to a new exciting life!

The first part of the first volume is available now on J-Novel Club's website.

Overlap publishes the novel series in Japan and it published the first volume on February 22.
