Viz Media's Shonen Jump Adds Mission: Yozakura Family Manga on August 25

Viz Media announced on Twitter on Thursday that it is launching the first chapter of Hitsuji Gondaira's new Mission: Yozakura Family (Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen) manga on its Shonen Jump website on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. EDT simultaneously with the series' debut in Japan. The series about shooting guns will launch in this year's 39th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on Monday. The first chapter will have 54 pages, including color opening pages, and the seres will feature on the issue's front cover.
The manga's story centers on the secret of high school student Taiyō's childhood friend Mutsumi Yozakura.
Gondaira launched the Demon Prince Poro's Diaries (Poro no Ryūgakuki) manga in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in February 2017 and ended it in June 2017. Shueisha published the manga's second and final compiled book volume in August 2017. Viz Media published the manga's first three chapters in English as part of its "Jump Start" initiative.
Gondaira won the 10th "Gold Future Cup" contest in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2015 with the one-shot "Genjūi Toteku" manga.
