New Guilty Gear Game's Trailer Previews Axl Low

Playable demo with 6 characters to be at ArcRevo America 2019 event in mid-November

Arc System Works revealed a new trailer for its new Guilty Gear game on Sunday. The trailer previews the previously revealed returning character Axl Low.

The video also reveals that the ArcRevo America 2019 event in California on November 16-17 will have a playable demo of the game with the characters Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske, May, and Axl Low, along with two other unannounced characters.

The game will launch in 2020. Daisuke Ishiwatari is the game's general director, and Akira Katano is directing the game.

Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2, the series' latest entry, was marketed as both a new entry in the series and as a lower-priced online update for Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator. The game launched for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC in May 2017, and also launched in arcades in Japan in the same month.

The original Guilty Gear fighting game debuted on PlayStation on May 14, 1998. The franchise celebrated its 20th anniversary last year. PQube released a "Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Edition" bundle on May 17 in Europe. The bundle includes the Nintendo Switch versions of the original Guilty Gear game and the Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R game. Arc System Works America released the games individually digitally in the United States, and also released the original Guilty Gear game for PS4 and PC (via Steam).
