Aniplex of America announced at Anime Weekend Atlanta on Friday that it will release the Zoku Owarimonogatari anime in a Blu-ray Disc set on January 28, and it will release the Kaguya-sama: Love is War anime in a Blu-ray Disc set on February 18.

The Zoku Owarimonogatari set will bundle a deluxe booklet and pin-up postcard set.

The anime adaptation of NisiOisin's Zoku Owarimonogatari novel opened in Japan in November 2018, and it aired on television as six episodes beginning in May 2019.

NisiOisin's novel series began with the two-volume Bakemonogatari story in 2006, and it served as the basis for the first anime adaptation of the novels in 2009. The novel series' "final season" ended with Zoku Owarimonogatari in September 2014, but it featured a teaser for "Monogatari Series, Next Season Tsugimonogatari." Four "Off Season" novels — Orokamonogatari, Wazamonogatari, Nademonogatari, and Musubimonogatarishipped in October 2015, January 2016, July 2016, and on January 2017, respectively. The novel series' new "Monster Season" launched with the Shinobumonogatari novel in July 2017. The most recent novel, Amarimonogatari, shipped in Japan on April 17.

The novel series centers on Koyomi Araragi, a loner and failing student. One day, his classmate Hitagi Senjōgahara falls into his arms accidentally, and he discovers that Hitagi literally weighs nothing. According to her, she has had this problem since the first year of high school. After Koyomi helps out with her supernatural problem, Koyomi then meets other girls who are all troubled by some manner of supernatural "oddity."

The Kaguya-sama: Love is War set will bundle a special booklet and exclusive illustration card set.

The television anime adaptation of Aka Akasaka's Kaguya-sama: Love is War (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunōsen) manga premiered on January 12 and aired for 12 episodes. Aniplex of America streamed the series on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and FunimationNow.

Viz Media is publishing the manga in English, and it describes the story:

Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane are two geniuses who stand atop their prestigious academy's student council, making them the elite among elite. But it's lonely at the top and each has fallen for the other. There's just one huge problem standing in the way of lovey-dovey bliss—they're both too prideful to be the first to confess their romantic feelings and thus become the “loser” in the competition of love! And so begins their daily schemes to force the other to confess first!

The anime is receiving a second season with returning staff.
