Wands Rock Band Returns With New Vocalist

A new official website for the rock band Wands opened and announced on Wednesday that the band will return with the new vocalist Daiji Uehara. This will be the fifth period for the band. Hiroshi Shibasaki (from the band's first and second periods) will be the guitarist, and Shin'ya Kimura (from the band's second and third periods) will play the keyboard. The website began streaming a teaser movie for the band.
Wands will perform at the Dojima River Forum in Osaka on Sunday at 7:40 p.m. JST. YouTube Live will stream the performance, which will include old and new songs.
The band's new single "Makka na Lip" (Crimson Lip) will ship in Japan on January 29.
Wands was formed in 1991. The band performed theme songs for the Slam Dunk, Dragon Ball GT, and Yu-Gi-Oh! anime.
