"Volume 0" epilogue bundles with limited edition of manga's 16th volume

Kodansha is listing a limited edition of the 16th and final compiled book volume of Yōsuke Kaneda's school romantic comedy manga series Boarding School Juliet (Kishuku Gakkō no Juliet) with a "volume 0" epilogue story that shows the characters of the story seven years after their graduation. The volume will ship on Friday.

The manga ended serialization on September 4. Kaneda launched the manga in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in 2015, and the series moved to Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2017. Kodansha shipped the 13th volume in Japan on May 17. The series received a nomination in the Shōnen category of the 41st Annual Kodansha Manga Awards in 2017. Kodansha Comics is releasing the manga digitally and in print in English.

The story follows two students from two nations who attend the Dahlia Academy boarding school, and a forbidden love that blooms between them. In the Tōwa Nation's dormitory stands Romio Inuzuka, and in the Principality of WEST.'s dormitory stands his lover and eternal enemy Juliet Percia. Everything begins with the confession that Romio stakes his life on.

A 12-episode television anime adaptation premiered in October 2018. Amazon Prime exclusively streamed the anime in Japan and overseas.
