Square Enix Announces Engage Souls Smartphone RPG

Trailer streamed for app launching for iOS, Android devices in Japan in 2020

Square Enix began streaming a teaser trailer on Wednesday for a new smartphone role-playing game titled Engage Souls. The app will launch for iOS and Android devices in Japan in 2020. The trailer features the song "GLORY" by The Peggies.

In the game, boys and girls in teams of five aim to be professional players, or contractors, in "Engage" competitions. "Engage" matches feature an element of rock, paper, scissors called eJanken.

Engage Souls will use Unreal Engine 4.
