Talent production company With Line announced on Tuesday that voice actor Tatsuya Tokutake will retire from the entertainment industry on December 31.

In his message, Tokutake thanked the productions, characters, and staff with whom he was able to work, as well as the fans who supported him. He apologized for not being able to live up to the expectations of his supporters, but said that he hoped that fans will still continue to love the characters and works that he has been a part of.

Tokutake debuted as a voice actor in 2015, voicing a character that appeared in one episode of the Beautiful Bones -Sakurako's Investigation- anime. Tokutake made his major voice acting debut in the Kakegurui anime in 2017 as protagonist Ryōta Suzui, a role he continued in the anime's second season in this past January. Tokutake also voiced the character Kazuki Tsukumo in the THE iDOLM@STER: SideM game.
