posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Manga about high school girls in world of freestyle rap battles launched in 2017

The January 2020 issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine published the final chapter of Masahito Soda's Change! manga on Friday. Kodansha will publish the manga's sixth and final compiled book volume on December 17.

The manga centers on Shiori Kozono, a high school girl who leads a prim and proper everyday life. But one day, she follows her friend Miki into a club, and she finds a contest where girls use words as weapons. Shiori steps into the world of freestyle rap battles!

Soda launched the manga in Monthly Shonen Magazine in November 2017. Kodansha published the manga's fifth compiled book volume on August 16.

Soda began The Tenth Prism manga in 2014, and the 12th and final volume shipped in February 2017. Crunchyroll published the manga digitally simultaneously with the Japanese release.

Soda launched his Capeta series in 2003, and he ended it in 2013. The manga won the Kodansha Manga Award in the Best Shōnen Manga category in 2005. The series inspired a 52-episode television anime series in 2005-2006 from Studio Comet.
